On the basis of Basell technique of LanZhou petrolchemical company polyolefin department PP plant the good market outlook and high add-value Copolypropylene Bumper Specialist Sp179 Production was developed.Catalyst, prepolymerization, bulk polymerization, gas phase polymerization, decatizing inactivation and extrusion system were analysed. High void fraction catalyst ZN118/ZN111-4 was used to prevent ethylene propylene copolymer sticking on the wall of reactor and exchanger. High void fraction catalyst made the ethylene propylene copolymer inside of the hole. The mechanical performance of catalyst was good that can prevent granular particle of catalyst breaking. There was a little of powder in the system that was good for operation. The activation of catalyst, reaction kinetics of propylene and particle morphologic were effected by prepolymerizattion. It was important to control the prepolymerization effect to guarantee the quality of production. The parameter of prepolymerization include resident time, temperature and pressure. Noumenon polymerization is critical for quality and performance of production that effects the melt flow rate, stiffness of final production and remains activation in the gas phase reactor. By controlling density of reactor, resident time in the reactor, temperature and pressure the activation in the gas phase is stable.By adjusting the hydrogen feeding of reactor the MFR of final production and the activation in gas phase reactor are steady and moderate degree to guarantee the operation of gas phase reactor. By controlling the composition to optimize the distribution of ethylene-propylene rubber make balance of stiffness and toughness. The main methods are temperature and gas composition in the gas phase reactor. The ethylene/(ethylene+propylene) ratio was 0.375 and temperature was 75-80℃the quality of production that meet to requirement of bumper. The function of inactivation system was to deactive the catalyst, aluminium triethyl and guarantee the safety of conveyer system and process. The critic parameter of decatizing inactivattion is temperature that isn’t above 106℃because the ethylene-propylene rubber content cause the melt temperature degradation. If temperature is higher the small molecular will melt that should be adheres to the wall on the equipment. The operation of the plant will be effected. The melting and crystallization of powder are affected by the temperature of barrel, plate and pellet water. The crystal form and diameter of crystalline particle of polypropylene affect mechanical strength greatly. By adjusting the circulating water and high pressure steam of barrel keep the temperature of the barrel. By adjusting hot oil system keep the temperature of plate. By adjusting the low pressure steam of pellet water tank keep the temperature of pellet water. The crystallization velocity and diameter were controlled by the temperature that guarantee the mechanical strength.By optimizing the process parameter the basic technology parameters of SP179 were revised and a new process receipt were developed for this production.The parameters which effect the mechanical strength were discussed and responding measures were adopted to guarantee the quality of producton. The impurity of raw material effects the MFI, degree of isotacticity and activation of catalyst. To supervise the quality of raw material guarantees production performance. Hydrogen feed density of slurry, TEAL/Donor ratio and the grade of catalyst affect the MFR that were discussed in the chapter. TEAL/Donor ratio, TEAL/propylene ratio, Al/Si ratio, changing of production rate, resident time, reaction temperature and partial pressure of hydrogen effects the degree of isotacticity. By optimizing the parameter to meet the stiffness of copolymer guarantee high degree of isotacticity of homopolymer. Molecular weight and molecular weight distribution effects the process performance and mechanical strength. To controlling the Molecular weight and molecular weight distribution meets the requirement of custom and enhances applicability of production. By controlling the split of reactor, hydrogen feed and reaction conditions guarantee the molecular weight and molecular weight distribution of final production. Izod impact strength was effected by content, distribution, structure, inherent viscosity of biopolymer, gas ratio. Enhancing the Izod impact strength can take the measures such as ethylene bonding, reducing the ethylene/(ethylene/(ethylene+propylene)) ratio and controlling the inherent viscosity of biopolymer. By implementing the quality controlling measure the fast analytic methods were established that offered effective guide for process adjustment. The curve between performance structure and process were established that make appropriate process parameters for good performace of production. The additive receipt was optimized to develop the intrinsic performance of production.Finishing the development of production evaluation of performance was proceeded by GPC、FTIR、SEM、DMA analytic methods.The mechanical performances of LznZhou petrochemical SP179 were same to classic production of inland such as AW191 and QiLu SP179. The MFR reached to 8-12g/10min.The molecular weight of solution and insolution of xylene were24.22 and 9.43 separately which were higher than same productions that were good to develop the mechanical performances of production. The molecular weight distribution of solution and insolution of xylene were 4.32 and 4.53 separately which were broader than same productions that were good to develop the process performances of production.The rubber content reached to 28-33% and the distribution is uniform. Intrinsic viscosity of solution and insolution of xylene were 1.2-2.0 that make Izod impact strength up to 48kJ/m2. Nucleating agent make the flexural module up to 1091MPa.After analyzing and evaluating we thinked that the developing and researching of SP179 was successfull.There were character such as high fluidity,high ethylene content,high flexural module and Izod impact strength that make good banlance between the rigidity and tenacity. The outstanding quality satisfied with the demand of customers.
