Soil salination has become the more serious current problem of environmental pollution, the degree of soil salinity will affect the normal plant growth and development. In addition to the crops growth and production, also affect the urban greening. So this experiment adopts the hydroponics analog neutral salt and alkaline salt stress to explore the ornamental flowers lathyrus odoratus and impatiens balsamina response.According to the composition of saline land complex components, the experiment choose Na Cl and Na2SO4 mixed neutral salt, Na HCO3 and Na2CO3 mixed alkaline salt, according to the mole ratio of 1:1 mix. Neutral salt set five concentration gradient, respectively, 30mmol/L, 60mmol/L, 90mmol/L, 120mmol/L, 150mmol/L. Alkaline salt set five concentration gradient, respectively, 10mmol/L, 20mmol/L, 30mmol/L, 40mmol/L, 50mmol/L. To explore the neutral salt and alkaline salt stress of lathyrus odoratus and impatiens balsamina seed germination, seedling morphological structure, the influence of seedling physiological indexes. The experimental results show:(1) With the increase of neutral salt and alkaline salt stress gradually concentration, lathyrus odoratus and impatiens balsamina germination potential, germination rate, germination index, vigor index, the greater impact; and the greater relative damage rate of the seeds. Under low concentration of alkaline salt stress 10mmol/L, impatiens balsamina seed germination potential is higher than the control group. Neutral salt and alkaline salt stress on lathyrus odoratus seed germination is greater than the influence of impatiens balsamina.(2) Neutral salt and alkaline salt stress influence on lathyrus odoratus seedling growth of root length > plant height > stem diameter, stress influence on impatiens balsamina seedling growth of root length > stem diameter > plant height. Neutral salt stress mainly affects the formation of plant vascular tissue, make the root and stem xylem vascular tissue percentage increased, catheter aperture increases, the thickness of leaf blade palisade tissue and spongy tissue thinning.(3) Under neutral salt and alkaline salt stress lathyrus odoratus and impatiens balsamina SOD activity, POD activity, CAT activity, with the increase of stress gradually concentration, after rising first reduce trend. Lathyrus odoratus in neutral salt 90mmol/L and alkaline salt 40mmol/L maximum. Impatiens balsamina in neutral salt 60mmol/L and alkaline salt 30mmol/L maximum. Under neutral salt and alkaline salt stress lathyrus odoratus and impatiens balsamina free proline content and MDA content performance is increased with the increase of stress concentration and trend, chlorophyll content show the and decreased with the rising of concentration.
