Qigu Anticline belong to the Foreland Fold and thrust belt of southern margin of the Junggar Basin,is the result by the Yanshan and Himalayan orogenic activity. Anticline structure complex, due to the depth structure superimposed on each other, tectonic evolution of the sequence is difficult to determine,especially the structural relationship is unclear.There is abundant of oil and gas in the south of Juggar Bsain,as a result,the region attracts many of petroleum geologists. In recent years, With the oil exploration of southern Junggar Basin fold thrust belt develop, and get the important oil and gas exploration breakthrough in Mahe oilfield.Establish a main model of geologic structure and the seismic interpretation program become very important.Based on the precious studies,the modern geological structural theories and fault related folding theories, geometry analysis method,balance geological section technology, Combining the outcrop and measured data, complete the fine structure interpretation of Qigu Anticline. Identified the main period of tectonic deformation and set up a reasonable fracture system, eventually constructed a three-dimensional geological model of Qigu Anticline.We have clear recognization about typical structural phenomenon of the region by studying strucrual characteristic of Qigu Anticline, we believe that the formation of Qigu Anticline is affected not only by the Huo-Ma-Tu thrust faults in the deep formation of ramp anticline, also includes the contribution of fault propagation fold Qigu North high angle thrust faults formed made and ramp structure of middle shallow layer. Yanshan period, the basin regional thrust caused unconformity development. Qigu Anticline anticline in Changji east to west, low angle overthrust anticline disappeared gradually, deformation is mainly composed of high angle thrust fault and divieded the tectonic system into two sets,which has the structure of derivation and inheritance relationship,both developed in the Jurassic interior,not damaged the upper strata of anticline, form a relatively co5mplete anticline, with good oil and gas exploration potential.
