Study On The Bird Community Under Different Landscape Scales In The Main Urban Area Of ​​Kunming

Kunming is the largest city of Yunan Province. Studying and protecting its bird diversity is of great use to study urban bird community and make use of the bird resourse. In2014, With the line transect method, we conducted seasonly vestigation in22sampling sites, then the data was an analysed with "Biodixcel for Excel2007". We conducted the results as follow:(1)120species,10orders and38families, were recorded. Passeres (64.73%of all observed individuals), climbers(8.33%) and Grallatores(5.83%) were the main predominant bird group of Kunming main urban area. CHARDRIFORME(15613individuals observed,52.52%of the total number) and PASSERIFORMES(13076,43.99%) are the main predominant bird group of Kunming main urban area. Among92species of breeding birds,63are palaearctic species63species(57.61%) and23are cosmopolitan species(33.70%).67.50%of the total number of birds are resident birds.(2) Most number of bird species were recorded in the migratory seasons(Spring and Autumn), and most bird individuals were recorded in Winter.(3) There shows a significant regression between bird species and habitat areas of Kunming main urban area, which shows that larger green patch has the ability to contains more kind and number of birds. There’s positive correlation between bird species and distance to city center of Kunming main urban area. In spring, there shows positive correlation between ratio of passing migrant birds and vegetation coverage ratio of Kunming main urban area in Sping, which figures out that spring migrant birds prefers the green patchs that have higher vegetation coverage ratio.
