The most important process in natural photosynthetic reaction center is the quick and efficient multiple-step electron and the energy transfer.This has attracted many researchers to look for ways to duplicate the reactions in simplified chemical systems. In nature, porphyrin compounds constitute the core of hemoglobin, cytochrome, chlorophyll and other biological molecules etc, which can participate in a series of important process.Porphyrin compounds is the versatile optical and photochemical properties of porphyrins makes them ideal substitdte for chlorophylls in artificial photosynthetic systems.With the development of the synthesis of New Porphyrin compands, makes the study more deeply on the porphyrin chemistry. This paper mainly introduces the effect of cyano diimide porphyrin of structure and spectrum properties.At the same time introduced in recent years, the latest research and application on the biochemistry, chemistry, materials science an other fields of porphyrin in the porphyrin compounds, the application of porphyrins and metalloporphyrins in many fields is prospected.
