Active Galactic Nucleus(AGNs) is an important research frontier inAstrophysics. Presently large-scale researches of active galactic nuclei are critical insolving many major problems of astrophysics. Also, AGNs is the most valuablesubject in Astrophysics, of which many important questions have always troubledfellow astronomers. There is a special kind of AGNs known as Blazar, which presentsspecial physical properties such as high luminosity, rapid and large amplitudevariability, high and variable polarization, radio core-dominance, and apparent ofsuperluminal speeding. Blazar thereby become quite popular in Astrophysics, as wellas its related researches which lays solid foundation in exploration of the physicalproperties of AGNs central area, in supporting the black-hole energy jet theory, andalso providing important information for the establishment of the theoretical model ofactive galactic nuclei. This thesis has summarized the defined characteristics, common classificationand observation records of AGNs, whereby radiation mechanism and light variationfeatures tends to be the key. The thesis introduces existing applications and theoreticalfoundation of CCD photometry technologies in photometry practices of celestialbodies, and is focused on CCD photometry of Blazar. This thesis proposes anautomated technique for processing the Blazar photometry data using IRAF software, which is convenient and fast for batch processing of mass data generated in CCDphotometry. There are many methods for analyzing and calculating the period of lightvariation, and this thesis employs Jurkevich method to analyze and research theperiods of light variation of OJ287BL Lac. The correctness of Jurkevich method canbe verified by sine signal simulation. By assuming the long period light variation isrelevant with accretion disk, the analysis is carried out based on the thermalinstability of the thin disk. It is concluded that R81.75Rgand R87.85Rgare theareas where the instability occur. By studying the period of light variation of OJ287,the thesis reached preliminary techniques of researching rotation, vibration and sphere movement. In conclusion, the research of the period of light variation can bean approach of solving time-variation problem of celestial bodies.
