With the development of global integration, the international trade is increasingly active, the risks of biological invasion all countries facing is also increasingly greater. In recent years, biological invasions aggregately growing across the world, resulting in the loss of biodiversity and enormous economic losses. Alien invasive species have severely affected the survival and development of mankind. Meanwhile, the risk management for alien invasive species has also got much more attention. How to establish a scientific risk analysis system in accordance with the relevant international standards and protocols, combined with China’s national conditions is of great significance to safeguard China’s agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fisheries and maintain ecological environmental security.In view of risk management, the current situation, characteristics, approaches, the degree of severity as well as the trend of the alien biological invasion in China is reviewed in this paper. The measures taken for alien species invasion risk management are compared with different countries, the problems of alien invasive species risk management of China were analyzed are also mentioned in this paper. The prevention and control for alien species invasion is emphasized and a general method for risk management is proposed in this paper. Through the research on alien invasive species risk management of foreign countries, the suggestions and improvement directions are also given in this study.The research combined with the practical work of the author, the risk management for alien invasive species of entry-exit inspection and quarantine agencies is discussed in this study. Recommendations on how to do better on prevention and control of alien invasive species for entry-exit inspection and quarantine agencies are proposed in the study.In addition, the author also discussed the risk classification management system applied into the risk management for imported plants and plant products.
