Public service facilities is one of the important parts of city function system. Scientificand reasonable configuration and optimization of urban public service facilities haveimportant practical significance to improve overall urban function, convenient living.Endowment facilities is a part of the public service system. In China, the "aging" country,pension problem has become the hot topic. Elaboration to the area or community endowmentservice is becoming close to People’s Daily life, an important part of meet the demand of theelderly in a timely manner. As a result, the configuration rationality of pension servicefacilities and optimization research has become the target of modern scholars attention. Butmost scholars are discussing macroscopic theory and optimization methods. Really specific toa particular city and a community is still lack of the data in more detail investigation anddetailed planning. So the location of the existing community endowment service facilities andservice range are most of stronger subjectivity. And the reason such as the lack of financialinput makes older the number of facilities limited in some extent, optional location choice,limited coverage and the shortage of unreasonable location selection, matching set a series ofproblems.Aiming at the endowment facility layout problem, the author of this paper, after studyingthe domestic and foreign public service facilities, on the basis of related research, consideringthe coordination of people and facilities, takes the district of Ganjingzi in Dalian cityendowment facilities spatial layout and optimization as the research object. Through fieldinvestigation and the basis of analyzing the relevant departments to provide data, using GISsoftware and technology, based on spatial analysis and multiple criteria decision analysis,qualitative quantitative analysis, structure comparison, location allocation principle, etc.,analysis of regional population, aging population and coordination and spatial distributioncharacteristics of facilities configuration, using facilities to minimize points model andmaximum coverage model was seated on paper discusses endowment facilities layoutoptimization, to realize the rationality of the study area facilities optimization scheme is putforward, that was seated in the existing old-age facilities to build19endowment facilities isadvisable.In this paper, the conclusion can be applied to similar community endowment servicefacilities configuration optimization problem. The text of the basic theories and researchmethods systematically make the community endowment facility location and layout moretheoretical basis and technical support.
