In This paper, the geologic features and genesis of Zhuanshanzi gold deposit isdiscussed based on geology of main intrusive rocks and typical veins, petrologic andstructural characteristics, geochemistry, and lithogeneous age combined with fluidinclusions from main ore-hosting veins and isotopes within ore minerals in Zhuanshanzigold ore district. The purpose of this paper is to:(1) describe and classift all rock units indeposit zone.(2) deduce briefly the structural evolution of the depsit.(3) discuss the featuresof country rock responsible for mineralization and ore-relating tocks (4) provide a mode forthe evolution of the deposit.Based on the geological features of Zhanshanzi gold deposit including occurrenceenvironment, geological background of ore district, geochemical features of rock mass andcharacteristics of orebody and ore, it is shown that the rock mass is not only closely relatedto orebody in space but also in age and genesis by the analysis for geochemical featuresof main elements, trace elements and rare earth elements and the dating for age of the majorintrusion. The geochemical patern of Zhanshanzi rock mass acting as the country rock ofgold deposit is similar to that of Shaoguoyingzi rock mass.which suggests the two rockmasses, which suggest that the two rock masses are the same provenance. Based on theunderstanding above and combined with the regional metallogenic dynamic mechanism,we preliminarily discuss on the metallogenic mechanism. Studies about fluid and isotopeshow that, first of all, the ore-forming materials of Zhuanshanzi gold deposit mainlyderived from deep, and agine, parts come form the extraction of surrounding rock andmineralization is likely to be occoured under the condition of the liquid and the gas phases, and the main metallogenic stage temperature is140-350℃. Preliminary thought, since theearly cretaceous, the edge of the North China craton mantle mass thinning, and cause alarge number of magmatic activity. The hydrothermal activity and brittle fracture isnecessary to cause mineralization. Zhuanshanzi gold deposit may be related to calciumalkaline magma hydrothermal activity and then formed hydrothermal vein type golddeposits, and it may be intrusion-related gold deposits, not be a Orogenic-type golddeposits.
