Danghenanshan area located along the northern margin of the South Qilian terrane, adjacenting to the middle Qilian with the Danghe fault bounded, belonging to the South Qilian Au, Pb, Zn, Cu, Ni, W, Cr metallogenic belt. As the main deposit types, gold deposits have great research value throughout the Danghenanshan area. Through the comparison of typical gold deposits, get the following main understanding:It’s found Danghenanshan area gold deposit occurred in the Caledonian tectonic layer of a low greenschist facies metamorphism, and interbedded sandstone-slate flysch. There are always intermediate-felsic stocks or domes within the local area. Fracture is the ore controlling structure of the gold deposit in this area. The orebody distributes along the fracture. The gold deposits in this area are most commonly of disseminated and vein type, although stockwork deposits are also described. Ore fluids is H2O-NaCl-CO2±CH4 system of low-salinity, low-CO2, low-δ18O. The depth of metallogenic deposit is<6 km, the temperature<280℃.Through comparison found that gold deposits geologic characteristic of Danghenanshan area and the North Margin of Qaidam to East KunLun area are very similar, especially its late mineralization stage. Although between gold deposits of these two regions exist some different, both of them still have reference value.Through comparison of orogenic gold deposits, epithermal deposits, reduced intrusion-related gold deposits and gold deposits of Danghenanshan area, found that gold deposit type of the Danghenanshan area are different with other typical gold deposit types. But it is the highest similarity with orogenic gold deposits. The main differences lie in the ductile shear zone. Through the discussion, it determines the gold deposits of Danghenanshan area to the epizonal orogenic deposits, identifies that the tectonic factor may be the key factors of controlling gold ore. Furthermore combined with the actual work, the paper discusses the possibility of found reduced intrusion-related gold deposits in the Danghenanshan area.
