A Study Of The Urbanization In Undeveloped Countries In Guangdong Province

The changes of Guangdong’s economic development and urbanization over the past three decades would not have been possible without reform and opening-up. However, the rate of the province’s urbanization is relatively low, especially in undeveloped areas in the province. And there is a lack of balance, reasonableness and a better system in the development between urban and rural areas, which cause many economic and social issues that make developing a harmonious and happy Guangdong more difficult. The fundamental solution to these problems lies in accelerating urbanization in the undeveloped countries in Guangdong Province.With the development of the industry and modernization, the urbanization in undeveloped countries is a result of the development of the countries and the process of transforming rural economy to urban economy and of transforming traditional rural lifestyles to advanced urban lifestyles. Therefore, promoting urbanization in undeveloped countries in Guangdong Province plays an important role in connecting the Pearl River Delta and other undeveloped countries and in accelerating the process of industrialization and modernization of agriculture, which breaks the dual structure of urban and rural areas, and narrows the urban-rural disparities. The urbanization in undeveloped countries industry develops quickly, thereby further strengthening the foundation for Guangdong’s economic and social development.According to the problems and situation of the urbanization in undeveloped countries in Guangdong Province, with the help of some related theories and the examples of developed countries at home and abroad, this study attempts to suggest some strategies of developing the urbanization in undeveloped countries in Guangdong Province by setting Meixian Country planning as an example to validate their maneuverability.
