Empirical Analysis Of Social Capital, Absorptive Capacity And Innovative Performance Technology

With the advent of economic globalization and the knowledge economy, business is difficult to rely on its own resources to achieve technological innovation to gain competitive advantage. Fortunately, the social network create the conditions for the enterprise to carry on innovation activities. In addition, studies on the relationship between social capital and innovation performance drawn different conclusions (positive correlation, irrelevant, or even a negative correlation). This paper argues that in addition to differences of the selected sample and measure indicators of the industry, but the main reason is that the ability that to identify, acquire, weak digestion and application of knowledge of those social well-capitalized company is weak(it has been verified in subsequent studies). Therefore, the introduction of the absorption capacity to study the impact of social capital on enterprise technological innovation performance is particularly necessary. In addition, the manufacturing enterprises as an important pillar of economic development in Inner Mongolia, due to lack of technological innovation capability, resulting in insufficient capacity for sustained development. Therefore, how to overcome technical bottlenecks is also an urgent need to solve the problem.In this context, the paper puts manufacturing enterprises in Inner Mongolia as the research object, using a variety of methods to analyze deeply the mechanism of the impact of technological innovation and corporate social capital. First, on the basis of existing research, the paper forms an initial questionnaire and then carry on a pre-survey. Followed by, it makes corresponding changes to obtain a formal questionnaire. Secondly, we obtained206valid data, and used SPSS17.0to analyze the data, including descriptive statistics analysis, reliability and validity testing, factor analysis, Pearson correlation and regression analysis.Analysis found that,(1)without the absorption capacity, the level of the various dimensions of corporate social capital affected on technological innovation performance positively, and the dimension of relationships plays an intermediary role between the dimension of structure and technological innovation performance.(2) there is a positive correlation between the various dimensions of corporate social capital and absorptive capacity. In addition, empirical results indicate that the dimension of relationship plays an intermediary role between the dimension of structure and the absorption capacity.(3) the potential absorptive capacity and actual absorptive capacity both effect positively on technological innovation performance, and actual absorptive ability plays an intermediary role between potential absorptive capacity and technological innovation performance.(4) Finally, we verify the intermediary role of absorptive capacity.Accordingly, we draw some management inspiration:establish and external social networking actively; establish and improve internal communication mechanisms, break the communication barriers; pay a attention to the work of introduction, imitation and re-innovation; improve the digestion and absorption capacity.
