During the12th five-year plan, one of the important economic development strategies is industrial restructuring and optimization. Manufacturing is the pillar industry in China, and automobile manufacturing is the main kind of manufacturing industry. Thus, the development of automobile industry plays an important role in national economy. On the March of2009, the State Council lists "the linkage development project of manufacturing and logistics industry" as one of the nine priority projects in the logistics industry adjustment and revitalization plan. As the development of logistics industry and automobile industry relates closely, the linkage development project has attracted extensive attention. Therefore, in-depth analysis and discussion of the linkage development of automobile manufacturing and logistics industry has positive impact on promoting the development of national economic development, and also plays a reference role on the linkage development of other industries in China.In this essay, there are two parts to analyze the linkage development problem: linkage development of auto parts and automobile manufacturing with logistics respectively. Based on the relevant data from2004-2012in China, super-efficiency DEA model is used to study on the current situation of linkage development between automobile manufacturing and logistics industry. In order to conduct a comprehensive analysis and evaluation of the linkage, development, it has solved the problem by using the two industries. Firstly, it has got the relative efficiency by setting logistics industry as input variable and automobile manufacturing as output variable. Secondly, it has got the relative efficiency by exchanging the input-output variable. Next, it has made a judgement that the value of super-efficiency DEA is valid, but not fully effective, by analyzing the consistency of the coordination degree.The main reason is that the opening degree is not enough that of logistics outsourcing in automobile manufacturing industry and the independent R&D ability is limited. Otherwise, the logistics information system needs improving to raise the logistics service efficiency. Thus, to improve the coordination degree of linkage development between automobile manufacturing and logistics industry, the two industries not only need to improve their core business capability, but also need to establish an information sharing platform, to improve the collaboration between transportation department, to make a reasonable layout of logistics park based on automobile manufacturing industrial cluster, and to strengthen personnel training. |
