The Current Study Of Rural Social Endowment Insurance In Gong Yi

With the acceleration of the aging process, the elderly pension problem gradually attracted people’s attention。As China is a large agricultural country, many of the rural population, by the process of urbanization, the weakening of family security, rural economic development lags behind other factors, the aging problem is more serious in rural areas, the rural elderly pension problem is more prominent. Our exploration of rural endowment insurance began in the nineties, and has achieved great success. The pension problem of China’s vast rural areas of the elderly gradually began to be resolved since the new rural social pension insurance system established in2009. This is an another major farmer-friendly policy of the Party and Country from overall situation after the only country abolition of agricultural tax, the implementation of food subsidies, subsidies for the purchase of agricultural bureau. New rural social pension insurance covers China’s vast rural areas, the majority of rural residents received tangible benefits. Our country has taken an important step in establishing a social pension insurance system which covering rural and urban residents.In this paper, with accelerating urbanization, promote rural economic development, and urban and rural development under the national urban and rural social endowment insurance pilot expanding background, it makes an theoretical analysis and empirical research in the new rural social pension insurance system in Gongyi. The first part of this paper describes the background, significance and research methods. The second part describes some of the theoretical basis of the concepts of endowment insurance and pension insurance. The third part describes the current development of new rural social pension insurance in Gongyi, analysis of policy implementation status, problems and causes of these problems.
