The Empirical Study On Dual Embeddedness Of Social Networks, Learning Space And Technological Innovation Of Cluster Firm

Since the reform and development, industrial cluster has become the important form and carrier of regional economic development in our country, the development of industrial enterprises is the important engine of future economic growth in China.The characteristic of modern econo-my is globalization,rapid markete changes and the rapid development of Internet technology.In this trend, the economic behavior of cluster enterprise in various forms and way embedded in social networks,unable to keep out of the affair. Research on network existing theory although outlined the characteristics of cyber source, along with the relationship between firm performance, but different background, scholars put forward the theory of mechanism is different, some even formed a network embeddedness paradox. Technological innovation as an important breakthrough in the development of enterprises in the new period, which also play an increasingly important role. Research on network embeddedness is an important topic for the role of technological innovation, the academic circles have made unremitting efforts. But the existing research often considered1network embeddedness as a whole, or from the content or strength of cluster network embeddedness, the distinction is not enough. As knowledge and information of the conflict "close" and "loose"in network embedded, which the microscopic mechanism in the network embedded and clusters firms technology innovation still worth studying. For embedded cluster network, even if the relationship between the intensity of the same network, the cluster firms to absorb knowledge, integration affected by the atmosphere of open communication, Previous studies tend to ignore this important factor. Therefore, this paper studied the mechanism between dual embeddedness of social networks and technological innovation of cluster firm, in-depth study explores the following two questions:(1) what’s the mechanism between dual embeddedness of social networks and technological innovation of cluster firm, whether learning space play a intermediary role?(2) whether the atmosphere of open communication plays a regulato-ry role in the dual embeddedness of social networks and learning space?(3) For traditional industries cluster enterprises and high-tech industry cluster enterprises, whether the influence of learning space to technological innovation are same size?In order to illustrate the problem, this paper adopts the method of combining theoretical research with empirical research, verify the concept model and hypothesis. This essay treat cluster firm as the object of study, studies on the effects of dual embeddedness of social networks on learning space, the effects of learning space on two types of innovation, the functions of open communication atmosphere between dual embeddedness of social networks and learning space. For the four hundred and seven questionnaires collected, the essay finds the intrinsic link of these variables by using the method of structural equation. The results demonstrate that the local network embeddedness can promote the depth of learning,but it reverse width of learning. ultra-local network embeddedness can promote width of learning,however, it reverse the depth of learning. The depth of learning can promote incremental innovation, therefore, it reverse technical innovation. The width of learning can promote technical innovation,but it reverse incremental innovation. The atmosphere of open communication play a positive regulatory role between dual embeddedness of social networks and learning space. In traditional industry cluster companies, the influence of the depth of learning impact on incremental innovation is greater than the high-tech industry; In high-tech industry, the influence of the width of learning impact on technical innovation is grater than traditional industries.At the end of the paper, some discriminate management suggestions are given.
