The Research On Management Performance Of The Listed Commercial Bank Of China Based On SEM

Today, the Macro-economy has been very stable and seen improved quality inStructural Adjustment as well as transformation&upgrading. In this background, China’sbanking industry is facing such situations as accelerating interest rate liberalization,strengthening capital constraint and tightening supervision policy and so on, so there is afierce competition among commercial banks. Finance industry is the core of a country’seconomy and the banking sector is its pillar, in which, the listed banks occupy a dominatedposition. Thus, concerning about the performance of listed commercial banks performanceis particularly important.This paper reviews existed theory on commercial banks performance and, after asummarization, points out the definition and makes an interpretation from differentevaluation subjects, and then introduces the theoretical foundation of performanceevaluation. The Structural Equation Modeling is applied to the performance studies oflisted commercial banks operating, from four latent variables---liquidity, growth,profitability, safety factor and the final12selected Measurement index. ConfirmatoryFactor Analysis Model and Second-order Confirmatory Factor Analysis Model areestablished taking all listed commercial banks annual financial report data from2007to2012as the sample and achieved the ideal effect through fitting and modification. Theempirical results effectively measure the management performance status of the listedcommercial banks. And then the paper analyses part reasons through different banks,different annual comparative analysis, finally gives some suggestions to improve themanagement performance of listed commercial banks.
