A Study On The Optimization Of Chinese Industrial Structure From The Perspective Of Low-carbon Economy

With the deepening of reform and opening up, China’s economy is maintaining arapid growing pace, and has made remarkable achievements in economicdevelopment, social progress and other aspects. However, what can not be ignored is thatthe cost of China’s rapid economic development is very heavy---energy consumptionand carbon emissions are rising dramatically, so we are meeting the serious challengein the environment and energy. At present, China is at a crucial stage of economicrestructuring, and the industrial restructuring should be consistent with thedevelopment of low-carbon economy so as to achieve low-carbon development, greendevelopment and cycle development while optimizing the industrial structure.The paper firstly defined and interpreted the relevant theories of low-carboneconomy and industrial structure, which indicated that development of low-carboneconomy and optimization of industrial structure interact. The interaction oflow-carbon economy and industrial structure was the focus of the paper. In the paperthe empirical research is divided into three parts. The first part was quantitativeanalysis of three different industrial structures and carbon emission, which indicatedthe relationship between carbon emission and GDP; secondly, the paper analyzed theeffects that three major industries had on the mechanism of carbon emission, whichshowed that industry of energy consumption should be optimized when developing;thirdly, the paper analyzed the factors that affect carbon emission, explaining theinfluential effects of industrial structure on carbon emission, which helped to confirmthe direction and focus of energy savings and industrial structure upgrading afterward.The ending summarized the main idea of the paper. Oriented to the philosophy oflow-carbon economy, we should try to coordinate the economic development withenergy consumption and environment protection, to explore the realization way ofindustrial structure optimization under the constraint of low-carbon economy. Thepaper proposed a series of solutions and suggestions that help to optimize China’sindustrial structure, and stated that the ultimate aim was to integrate the China’sindustrial structure optimization with low-carbon development, green developmentand cycle development.
