| The city is the distribution center of the largest, most frequent and the most concentrated commodity exchange behavior. Business function becomes the core function of the modern urban economics naturally. It significantly influences the city’s other economical functions, and affects the size and development of the city at the same time. As a measure of economics prosperity, modern logistics is one leading industry of the modern society and has played the important role in promotion the local economics development sustained, rapid and coordinated. Greatly enhancing the city commercial logistics function becomes the development focus of our many cities.Jinniu, in the north-west of Chengdu, is the important commercial region of Sichuan, even the western part of China. And it takes the professional market-based commercial circulation as the important leading industry and specialty. The industry is big and scattered but not competitive, centralized, or high-leveled with the shortages of fundamental transport and logistics infrastructure. It has been unable to meet the requirements of modern industrial development. Relying on the big market, developing the large circulation, improving the great business, and enhancing the overall competitiveness of the city logistics have become the important thing of the Jinniu accelerating development. In2012, Chengdu initiated the largest beneficial projects-"North initiation" project. The start of the project will promote the north part of Chengdu economics restructuring. It will be a modern commercial logistics industry as the main part, and modern service industry concentrated high level industrial chain which will greatly enhance the commodity distribution function and the external radiation capacity.Firstly, This paper introduced the definition and functions of the commercial logistics industry, analyzed the advanced international logistics industry development situation and the common problem of Chinese commercial logistics industry to identify the common features of international business center city. Secondly, this paper made a research on the commercial logistics industry current development situation of Jinniu, analyzed its strengths, weaknesses opportunities and threats. Compared with other regional business center cities, this paper summarized developing lessons and direction. And then forecasted the Jinniu’s commercial logistics trends in the few years by regression forecast model and exponential smoothing forecast model. Based on quantitative and qualitative analysis, this paper put forward the Jinniu commercial industry development strategy. It is pleased to take this paper’s research as theoretical supports of Jinniu’s logistics system planning and management optimization for being international modern business center. |
