Internal Control Construction Study Of S City Commerical Bank

Banking industry is highly concentrated with risk. As an important content of modern commercial bank management, sound and effective internal control has become the first line of defense in commercial bank risk prevention. As the local financial security maintenance and important force to promote the development of economy, city commercial bank has achieved great development in this decade. But the internal control is still relatively weak, which hindered the sustainable and healthy development of city commerical bank.This paper selected S City Commercial Bank as the research object, integrate using of system analysis method, questionnaire method, the methods of combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis. First of all, the author made a brief review of commercial banks internal control development theory, and the commercial banks internal control elements, functions and the relationship between them. Then, the current developping situation of S City Commercial Bank are analyzed, and with reference to the latest "commercial banks internal control evaluation method", to evaluate S City Commercial Bank internal control system construction, to get a whole image of its system. On the basis of existing problems, find ways to perfect the internal control system of S City Commercial Bank.Hoping that through this article research to improve S City commercial Bank’s internal control management, improve the risk prevention ability and competitiveness. At the same time, the research conclusion also has certain reference significance for many city commercial banks of our country to perfect their internal control system.
