Quality Of Urbanization In China's Western Region

Urbanization is one of the carrier building a moderately prosperous society, and in the western region, as China’s relatively backward areas, the level of urbanization has lagged far behind in the eastern region. But with the deepening of the western development, the western regions have moved into the stage of rapid development of urbanization, but there is too much to pursue growth in urbanization process, and focus on the quality of urbanization serious shortage. This paper reviews the research literature at home and abroad on the basis of the evaluation of the quality of urbanization, urbanization connotation from building a quality evaluation index system of urbanization, urbanization from the west face of the economic base, social and public services and the environment tripartite quality evaluation. Through in2003-2012time series analysis in the western region and the quality of urbanization in2003and2012two time node cross-sectional analysis, the level of urbanization in the western region measure, and as a basis, through the influence of factors analysis, the level of urbanization in the western region overall grasp.
