Integrate Cooperation In Agricultural Industry

Under the background of rapid development of agricultural industrialization, the choice of agricultural industrial organization mode has become a prerequisite of the development of agricultural industrialization. The agricultural industrial organization mode driven by leading enterprises occupies the dominant position among various agricultural industrial organizations in China. It is an agricultural industrial organization mode that increases the income of the largest number of farmers in China. With the basic model of "enterprise+farmer", this agricultural industrial organization mode manages to present different operation modes and obtain various effects by supplementing and perfecting its basic model in different directions and to different degrees with various types of contracts, organizational structures, and operation mechanisms.Agricultural industrial integrated cooperation mode, the object of the present study, is one of the successful examples of the agricultural industrial organization mode driven by leading enterprises. In agricultural industrial integrated cooperation mode, leading enterprises and farmers closely cooperate with each other; while either of the two parties manages to maintain their identities of independent economic entity, the enterprises turn the farmers into the production sector of their one-stop industrial chain of production, supply and marketing, which realizes the industrial mode of integrated cooperation of enterprises and farmers. In this thesis, the industrial integrated cooperation mode of commodity goose breeding promoted by Suqian Xinhua Animal Husbandry Limited Company and farmers is taken as an example to illustrate the organization mode and characteristics of integrated cooperation in Agricultural industry. First, it is shown from an organizational perspective that an integrated cooperation mode can effectively reduce the marginal cost of the organization, the complexity of the transactions and the supervision cost of the enterprises, and improve the production efficiency of the organization. Second, the analysis of the operation mechanism of the effective supervision and incentive system in the integrated operation organization is conducted from the theoretical perspective of bounded rationality. At last, this thesis discusses the clear definition and integrated of property rights in this integrated cooperative organization from the perspective of property rights theory. It is shown that this type of organization mode is able to achieve effective resource allocation, increase economic returns, and help design a reasonable mechanism for benefits distribution within the organization.It is found that the design of integrated cooperation organization mode and its operation mechanism can effectively prevent the organization from entering into a "default" predicament, and realize the reform and perfection of the basic model of the agricultural industrial integrated cooperation mode driven by leading enterprises. However, the organizational degree of the cooperative farmers needs to be further enhanced, so that the aim of "Risks and Benefits Sharing" through cooperation between enterprises and farmers can be achieved. On the whole, the integrated cooperation organization mode can be applied to agricultural industry in much of China, and it is worth being widely promoted.
