Research On The Integration Of Agricultural Information Resources Based On The Linked Data

Agriculture information in our country is very important. With the rapid development of the networks, online agricultural information has become an important part of the agricultural information resources. At present, the Chinese users can obtain the agricultural information resources through websites, databases and so on. However, the user cannot get the agricultural information resources they really need timely for the different operational procedures and interfaces provided by different agriculture information centers. At the same time, the existing agriculture information resources in our country are widely distributed in the different agricultural sites and databases. These information resources are scattered, independent and it is difficult to get the data in large scale for the "information isolated island". On the one hand, it reduces the efficiency of information inquiry. On the other hand, it is inconvenient for the user to discover the agriculture information resources. In the field of our agricultural research, the scientists obtain agricultural information resources quickly and accurately, will improve our level of scientific research in agriculture, and avoid research duplication. In the field of agricultural production, agricultural users can get the information what they need timely, familiar with the national policy, understand the product and market cultivation methods will reduce the information asymmetry to some extent, avoid the loss of agricultural production. Therefore, to achieve the integration of agricultural information resources utilization and improve the level of agricultural information service is significant.Linked date is a key technology to establish the link between the scattered and the heterogeneous resources. If the Linked date technology applied to establish the relationship among the agriculture policy, the price, the pest controlling information at the website, books and journals in agriculture, will improve the information services in the field of agriculture highly.In this paper we introduce the currently situation and the existing problems of agricultural information resource integrating.Then we applied the technologies of linked data to the integration of agricultural information,propose a model of integrating the information resource at the agriculture websites and agricultural literature information.In this paper we also introduce how to describe the rescourses in the data layer, linking the relation berween the resources in the integration layer and release the resourcrs in the application layer.We also illustrates the vital pole of "Agricultural Sciences Thesaurus" in the integration of the agricultural information resources, in order to improve the retrieval efficiency and enrich the content of the search results. A tool named "Agricultural Sciences Thesaurus" that used in agriculture and agricultural information resource indexing and retrieving This paper focuses on the use of technology of linked data to achieve the integration of agricultural information resources.In order to achieve semantic search and discovery of the expansion of knowledge in the field of agriculture,we adopt a unified standard vocabulary for the semantic description of agricultural information resources. Therefore,This study provides some theoretical basis for the application of the linked data in the integrated agricultural information.
