Analysis On Land Use Pattern Changes In Pan-Dongting Lake Area Based On Terrain Gradient

To reveal the influence of different terrain on the variation of land use pattern, and to explore the functions of natural and human factors in the land use pattern changes in different geomorphological positions,with the support of RS and GIS technology, the current land use data in1994,1999,2004,2009were gotten, which based on the TM remote sensing images in1994,1999,2004,2009. Based on DEM images, combined with terrain niche index, distribution index, the paper analyzed the impact of topography on the temporal and spatial change of land use, and the different land use ecological function under different topographic gradient to partition, puts forward corresponding partition of land development proposals.The results show that:1) withing the increase of slope and elevation, cultivated land, grassland, water, unused land, construction land area decreased, land area of woodland increased.2)according to the analysis theory of the geo information atlas:Stable and the variation of the distribution of index in the terrain grade1is max. But the distribution index of later changeable type, intermediate type, and repeatedly changeable and continued changeable type in terrain ranked2is max. Later on, with the increase of the terrain, the distribution of different types of index are decreased.3) the advantage of Cultivated land, construction land, water area, unused land concentrated in low terrain area; grassland concentrated in topographic location; forest land concentrated in high topographic location.4) the study area land use ecological function classification in topographic gradient is Dongting Lake flood regulating ecological function area, Dongting Lake Development of agriculture ecological function areas, Dongting Lake urban ecological function area, Dongting Lake soil and water conservation ecological function area. In view of the situation of land use in different ecological function area, put forward corresponding suggestions on land development.This paper is to provide the theoretical guidance for the rational use of land resources in Dongting Lake area and for the improvement of the ecological environment.
