Human resources which is recognized as the biggest challenges of management in the eyes of managers’, is the core resources in the knowledge economy times. In the last decade, this challenges continues to evolve. Currently, how to manager the new generation of employees, such as the post-80s staff, knowledge employee, becomes the most concern of management. In-depth knowledge is the primary condition for good management of the new generation of employees. So this paper regards "New Knowledge Employees" who are knowledge workers with less than5years working experience as the research object and based on the employees’ needs in order to help enterprises better understand the demand characteristics of this group.The author extracted from the existing materials and the results of the study. Then we modified after structured interviews and expert discussion. We have more than200samples and through data analysis, we found the New Knowledge Employees’demand characteristics including six demand dimensions, that is self-achievement, salary and welfare, self-growth, interpersonal relationship, life-support, organizational building. Also there is a difference on departure influence and motivation. In addition, Employee with different gender, job category or city has different needs.According to the results, the highest degree in demand and the most influential factors are Recognition/Respect, self-worth, promotional opportunities, interest, leadership style and monetary compensation which are called "Core Needs".
