| Urbanization refers to the optimization of the employment structure, the industrial structure, and the community between urban and rural areas. However, our urbanization lags behind industrialization, and population urbanization lags behind land urbanization. This paper establishes the urbanization qualith index system, compares the dynamic analysis and differences at the provincial level, based on the "11th five-year plan" period.The paper includes6chapers, introduction, the basic theory of urbanization quality, the method of establishment of index system, the analysis of urbanization quality, policy and conclusions. In the first three chapters, the paper provides an overview of past studies of urbanization, including the connotation and method.In the4th chapter, the paper establishes the urbanization quality index system, with the method of the time series-global PCA. The system includes6secondary indicators and45tertiary indicators. According to the weight, the6secondary ranges as economic development, residents’life, social development, resources&environment, population employment, integration between urban and rural. In the5th chapter, the paper compares the dynamic analysis and differences at the provincial level. The dynaminc analysis indicates that the urbanization qualith of China and her30territories improved during the "11th five-year plan" period. And the urbanization of the population employment, economic development, social development, residents’life, resources&environment improved, except the integration between urban and rural. The analysis of differences at the provincial level indicates that the urbanization quality has an obvice character on regional differences. In2010, the territories higher than the average urbanization quality are Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Fujian, Shandong, Liaoning and Inner Mongolia.In the6th chapter, the paper proposes measures to improve the urbanization quality and summarizes the main conclusion. |
