Empirical Research On Knowledge Spillover Effect Of Neighboring City

With the knowledge and the knowledge economy becoming increasingly important in the regionalization, agglomeration regional, knowledge spillover as a function of the knowledge economy is becoming more and more important. Knowledge spillover as a kind of externality is the result that the receiver combines receiving knowledge with its own knowledge to create new knowledge, but does not compensate knowledge providers, so total social effect is greater than private effect of knowledge, promoting the coordinated development of social economy. In some sense, knowledge spillover effect can promote economic of other adjacent area growth greatly. Therefore the regional economic growth not only depends on its endowment, but also gets the more and more leading role of adjacent knowledge spillovers, achieving economic development by leaps and bounds.This paper on the basis of Shenyang economic zone and under the precondition of analyzing the internal economic development imbalance from the perspective of knowledge spillover explains the reason for this phenomenon, and puts forward the overall regional coordinated development of targeted countermeasures. Considering economic zone development status and development trend of the Shenyang at present, this paper takes Shenyang as a source of knowledge spillover, measures the range of measuring knowledge stock, total factor productivity, knowledge absorptive capacity and economic distance of Canniest Spatial Knowledge Spillovers Model based on a proper correction and calculate the intensity of Shenyang overflow to the knowledge of the other cities. Based on this further empirical study analyzed the cities accept Shenyang determinants of knowledge spillover effect, and the empirical analysis, obtained from the perspective of knowledge spillover cities development the countermeasure of its economy, for promoting the regional knowledge spillovers, and promoting regional coordinated development has a certain practical significance.First of all, on a summary of the recent theory of knowledge spillover, this paper summarizes several aspects of the effect of knowledge spillover effect in following aspects:knowledge spillover theory from the concept, classification, overflow mechanism and overflow and measurement methods. Further on this basis, it is concluded that Shenyang economic zone in the process of the coordinated economic development the important role of knowledge spillover and the key measure, to calculate the strength of regional knowledge spillovers below provide theoretical support.Secondly, the article adopts the calculation of the indicators of knowledge spillover effects, combining with the availability of data, without prejudice to the research target, maintaining similar indexes under the principles of scientific using variable substitution method based on Canniest Spatial Knowledge Spillovers Model based on intensity of Shenyang economic zone knowledge spillovers. The results ranked with realistic indicators such as per capita GDP, urban competitiveness ranking in general, for the following research cities knowledge overflow intensity factor provides important variables.Thirdly, combining with research achievements at home and abroad, the article lists the key factors influencing the knowledge spillover effect. Based on above researcher, this article spreads empirical research on spillover effects of Shenyang economic zone. Results show that the stock of knowledge absorptive capacity, knowledge is larger; the action of the effect intensity differences between total factor productivity and economic distance effect is relatively small. So cities to narrow the gap with advanced areas to attach importance to improve their ability of knowledge, strengthen the stock of knowledge, but also to pay attention to the traffic and other infrastructure construction, shorten the distance with advanced regional economic, realize rapid and sustained development of the city.Finally, based on the above research results,this article makes the concrete economic explanations, combining with the current situation of the development of Shenyang economic zone,and study the various cities in absorbing knowledge spillover effect when the "short boar" in Shenyang, and puts forward coordination health development countermeasure for Shenyang economic zone.Based on the above analysis, this article includes five chapters:The first chapter includes introduction, mainly the research background and significance, literature review and evaluation at home and abroad, research ideas, research methods and main content and innovation. The second chapter includes adjacent to the city of knowledge spillover theory, mainly summarizing the concept of knowledge and knowledge spillovers, the classification of the externality of knowledge, knowledge spillover mechanism and effect.The third chapter includes the method of knowledge spillover intensity measure, mainly including the knowledge production function method and total factor productivity replacement method, at the same time, introduces the measure the intensity of knowledge spillover model, knowledge spillover index foreshadowing for below calculation. Combining with the existing mature theory, calculates the total factor productivity in the region, knowledge stock specific indicators, such as specific knowledge absorptive capacity index at the same time, using the measured data of Shenyang economic zone cities knowledge absorptive capacity, finally bringing among all indicators to Canniest Spatial Knowledge Spillovers Model, measure of Shenyang economic zone cities receive Shenyang level knowledge spillovers.The fourth chapter includes the empirical study of knowledge spillover, based on the modified Canniest Spatial Knowledge Spillovers Model, using the panel data from the area; this paper analyzes the regional knowledge spillovers to realize the decisive factor.The fifth chapter includes the conclusion and countermeasures, in view of the above empirical study economics explanation is given, and key factor analysis obtained from various cities in the development of deficiencies and defects, and then puts forward relevant countermeasures.In this paper, the results have a certain influence on the internal coordination of Shenyang economic zone cities, but for knowledge overflow spillover mechanism, the precise measure and economic distance measure remains to be further improving and further research.
