In recent years,’"authenticity" has always been one of the core concepts in both Chinese and foreign tourism academic research, and there are extensive and heated discussions and analysis about it."Authenticity",which was first appeared in "The Image:A Guide to Pseudo-events in America" by Boorstin in1961,was brought to new life by the "staged authenticity" theory proposed by MacCannell. Since then, a high surge and sweep of articles and comments toward "anthenticity" has been on, and its realm has transferred from purely social research into tourism field. After authenticity has come into tourism field, tourism experts transferred their attention from object to feelings gradually due to the surge of new things and new phenomena. Consequently, this kind of transfer has brought many fresh theories, such as Objective authenticity, Constructive authenticity, Postmodernism authenticity, Existential authenticity and so on.In the above several authenticity theories, Objective authenticity theory only focuses on the object and ignores the subject aspect, however, the authenticity in tourism research begins with the focus on tourist motivation and experience, and the dynamic power of its evolution is to explain newly emerging tourism phenomena,.Therefore, Objective authenticity theory is limited in the field of tourism researches. On the contrast, Postmodernism authenticity and Existential authenticity both extremely focus on the feeling of subject instead of object. Only Constructive authenticity combines the feeling of subject and the reality of object perfectly, so this paper chooses Constructive authenticity as the breakthrough point.Based on the observation of the "construction" in real life, the research puts forward three hypotheses:(1) turning "constructive authenticity" into "objective truth" needs to rely on a well-known resources;(2) tourists’participation is an indispensable part of the authenticity;(3) authenticity is of periodicity. In addition,"Romance on Lushan Mountain" is chosen as the object of the study to carry on empirical research. This paper consists of the following sections:The first chapter:introduction. It mainly describes the research background, significance, methods and theoretical basis, for the writing of the full text. The second chapter:literature review of the authenticity theory. Theories about the authenticity of research literature from domestic and foreign scholars are sorted out, and classified as the western scholars’ researches, Japanese scholars’researches, domestic scholars’ researches, and finally be compared and summarized. The third chapter:questionnaire investigation and data collection. Taking "Romance on Lushan Mountain" as the empiricle object, this part describes the basic introduction of Lushan scenic area and sorts out the development of "Romance on Lushan Mountain". Moreover, it invests and analyses target group’s basic information and emotional attitudes toward "Romance on Lushan Mountain" in detail. The fourth chapter:the hypothesis testing. According to the questionnaire and interview data, this part verifies and summaries the hypothesis, which is (1) turning "constructive authenticity" into "objective truth"needs to rely on a well-known resources;(2) tourists’ participation is a part of the authenticity;(3Authenticity is of periodicity. The fifth chapter:summary, and conclusion This part summarizes all the conclusions of the full text, points out the limitations, and discusses the researching trend of authenticity theory, hoping to offer references for the future research on authenticity.
