Study On Development Of Pastoral-Animal Husbandry In Lianyuan Agricultural Areas Of Hunan Province

Lianyuan, which is belong to a typical southern hilly region, is rich in light, heat, water resources and a large number of grass hills and idle farmland for development and utilization. The development of pastoral-animal husbandry has great potentiality. After years of development, although pastoral-animal husbandry in Lianyuan agricultural areas has achieved a certain degree of development, is still in its infancy compared with the pastoral-animal husbandry of developed countries.The article, based on the relevant literature, data, as well as field survey and visits, using a combination of quantitative and qualitative research, a combination of empirical research and normative research, collection of statistics and literature data and case combination of economics SWOT analysis analysis, analyzed advantages and disadvantages of conditions in the development of pastoral-animal husbandry in Lianyuan, summarized opportunities and challenges faced by the development of pastoral-animal husbandry in Lianyuan agricultural areas, and proposed strategies of development. In addition, the article put forward experience and enlightenment of development of pastoral-animal husbandry in Lianyuan even the southern agricultural areas through analyzing the typical cases of development of pastoral-animal husbandry in Lianyuan agricultural areas.Finally, the article proposed countermeasures in development of the Lianyuan pastoral-animal husbandry according to the above analysis summarizes as follows. First, we must change our ideas to development of pastoral-animal husbandry. We may establish grass industry by innovating thinking.Second, we should correctly handle the several relationships.Handle the relationship between grass planting in farming land and the development and utilization of grassland and grassy hills, annual grass and seasonal grass planting in farmland, grass planting and the development and utilization of grass and grass planting for raising livestock and improve the quality of livestock and so on. We should be rational to development and utilization of land for the development of pastoral-animal husbandry.Thirdly, the government should play a role in development of pastoral-animal husbandry in agricultural areas. They are as follows. Formulating relevant policies and measures to develop the local pastoral-animal husbandry scientific and rational; guiding farmers to support the development of pastoral-animal husbandry; adding capital investment and establishing and improving the technical service system for the services in development of pastoral-animal husbandry.Besides, we should make scientific planning and rational distribution on development of pastoral-animal husbandry in agricultural areas;Finally, we should play the role of science and technology, and establish technical support service system in order to play the role of technology services on pastoral-animal husbandry in agricultural areas.
