| The contradiction between growing demand of urban expansion and limited supply of land resources has been augmented increasingly prominent in recent years. Controlling the range of urban land and improving the efficiency of construction land use has become the inevitable direction of urban development. The efficiency of urban construction land use not only plays a role in the allocation of resources, but also affects the China’s urban economy-society sustainable development.In this paper, Ningxiang County has been selected as the study area. The result of study is based on the methods including questionnaires, local visits and Ningxiang second land use survey results. The theoretical analysis and empirical study of the construction land use efficiency are based on mathematical statistics and AHP-level analysis. In this research evaluation system of urban construction land use efficiency has been established. Simultaneously, the urban land use efficiency of33townships in Ningxiang County has been evaluated and analyzed. measures and recommendationsIn this paper, the evaluation results of urban construction land use efficiency are measured by scores.In this evaluation system, different townships has been allocated by several grades of indicators. The results show that the efficiency of urban construction land use of Ningxiang County has large room to upgrade, especially in some townships the scale of urban construction land are growing so fast and the level of land use efficiency are improving slowly.Finally, according to the results of the evaluation and the different land use planning of city and county, based on its current land use characteristics, this paper proposed several suggestions such as controlling the scale of urban construction land, paying attention to the transformation of the old city, optimizing land use structure. These suggestions would improve urban construction land use efficiency in Ningxiang county. |
