As the world’s most populous developing agricultural country,China has a strong demand of high quality and high yield disease-resistant varieties,objectively making seed industry promotes the stable development of agriculture in ourcountry and ensures the national food security and basic and strategic industry of effectivesupply of major agricultural products. The research of value-added of value chain research,which improves the competitiveness seed industry enterprise has very important practicalsignificance.This study bases on the domestic and overseas related literature, field investigation, Usetransaction cost theory, principal-agent theory, new growth theory, enterprise corecompetitiveness theory and lifecycle theory and relevant theory of varieties for reference.Integrated use of questionnaires and SPSS statistical analysis and case analysis method, fromthe value chain of varieties of value-added value, an empirical study of factors influencingmechanism, varieties, value chain and value chain to varieties, value-added model severalaspects, make a thorough research on the value-added problem of plant variety right valuechain. Combined with Shandong Denghai seed industry co., LTD., case analysis, we drawrelevant conclusions and recommendations. There are seven sections in this paper except theintroduction. This article through the design of questionnaires, using an empirical study of the factoranalysis and hierarchical analysis method to empirical analysis, the influencing factors of thevalue chain of varieties to perspective influence factors varieties of value-added value chain.Through factor analysis, we can get the influence of varieties of value-added value chain hasthree main factors, including the owners selecting factor, factor and varieties commercialvarieties trading development factors. Through the analytic hierarchy process compositescores of varieties of maize seed enterprises value chain, as the important criterion judgmentbasis to the extent of the value-added space.
