With the continuous development of economic globalization and the upgrade of information technology, competition among enterprises is becoming increasingly fierce. In order to concentrate superior resources on production, enterprises need to outsource logistics, as a non-core business, from professional logistics company. Then the third-party logistics come into being. The generation of third-party logistics stands for more specialized and social tendency and the extent of its development directly reflects the overall logistics level of a country. Therefore, it attracts more and more attention and policy support.This paper aims to analyze problems occurred during the earlier stage, the middle stage and the later stage of D company operations management process through a crisis hits when D company develops its3rd Party Logistics business, and tries to find out a solution with the help of MBA relating operations management knowledge.At first, this paper briefly describes the importance and development opportunity of logistics and3PL. Then in part two, it introduces the current operational status of company D and analyzes the advantages of its development of third-party logistics with the help of Dalian BLP regional superiority; at the same time, it lists problems emerged such as strategy making before services, coordinating&organizing ability during services, evaluating data obtained inside&outside company after services, etc. during operations management process through a crisis. In the third part, this paper analyzes the root cause of the above imperfections in details with operation management and3PL knowledge as basic theories. In the fourth part, it provides its own thinking and adjustment suggestions to solve the problems occurred during operation management of Company D respectively. Such as strategic studies advancing with the times, customer-requirement oriented, brand strategy for operations management strategy, and perfecting marketing department reconstruction; optimizing management system, talent structure and IT technology for organization ability; strengthening business performance evaluation inside and customer satisfaction investigation outside the company.Improvement is not only confined to questions and answers internally, but also skillfully developing every factor to favor the current situation. Meanwhile, strategy including marketing strategy, brand strategy, human resource strategy, etc. is fairly important to strengthen its position as a superior third-party logistics supplier for now and even for the future.
