Orchestrating Innovation Of Business Ecosystem Of Emerging Industry:Based On Energy Vehicles Industry

With the global economic competition, as well as by the international financial crisis and the profound impact of climate change, many countries actively develop emerging industries, accelerate the healthy development of emerging industries is an important way to improve the competitiveness of the economy and the environment. At present, China’s rapid development in new industries, while there have been many problems, including the orchestrating innovation of focal firm of commercial ecosystem. So from the perspective of business ecosystem development to research emerging industries, is great theoretical and practical significance.This paper selects new energy vehicles industry as the research object, and discusses the orchestrating innovation capacity of the focal firm in the business ecosystem. This paper uses the method of social network analysis and cross-case comparison, and dynamic analysis the evolution of the orchestrating innovation capabilities of focal firm. First, this paper introduces and analyses of the predecessors’ research of orchestrating innovation, business ecosystem and focal firm, and summarizes the model of the study structural. Secondly, from the aspects of the new energy vehicles industry, the industry’s business ecosystem, the orchestrating innovation capacity of business ecosystem, and based on orchestrating innovation capability to put forward the orchestrating innovation mechanisms of business ecosystem of the new energy vehicles. Thirdly, On the basis of the theory, and stat with the lifecycle of the business ecosystem, this paper deep studies the focal firm’s orchestrating innovation capacity from the perspective of dynamic. Combining with two cases studies, this paper summarizes the orchestrating mechanisms of the subjects in the business ecosystem, in particular focal firm. Finally, this paper analyses how the policies impact the new energy vehicles industry, and make a summary and outlook of this paper. Research shows that focal firms are the core of the business ecosystem, which can orchestrate the subjects of business ecosystem to make effective cooperation.
