A Study On The Practice Of Local University Serve Urbanization Construction

As the realization of rural urbanization is a must to the realization of modernization, many countries in the world lay emphasis on the former in the process of modernization development. Besides,the level of rural urbanization is one of the standard which measures the level of modernization of a country. China, the largest developing country, is working hard to realize socialist modernization by2050.Rural urbanization is the common target of our county and people, which requires the efforts of the whole society. Local colleges, as an important part of a society, undertakes the following three functions: talents cultivation, scientific studies and social services. Meanwhile, they need to cultivate various kinds of talents to serve local economic construction and social development. As there exist many problems in the process of rural urbanization, for example, project overload and work overload, many challenges appears. Hence, local colleges should take part in the rural urbanization construction and make up for the shortage of the government work.This thesis, in the case of Yangtze Normal University, analyzes the shortage in some government work, such as transfer of labor surplus in rural areas, changing role of peasants, left-behind children and etc. Besides, after discussing the remedy work implemented by the university, Hope that through the experience of Yangtze Normal University’s work can provide some reference for other local universities.This paper consists of four parts and seven chapters.Part One consists of chapter One. Research questions and significance of the study are discussed in this part. In addition, research methodology and literature review are elaborated in this part as well.Part Two consists of Chapter Two, Chapter Three and Chapter Four, including analysis of the concepts related to the construction of rural urbanization and theoretical research, on the general situation of the rural urbanization of Chongqing City, as well as the feasibility study of urbanization of rural service for local colleges analysis.Part Three consists of Chapter Five, Chapter Six, Including the practice and experience on the construction of Yangtze Normal University’s work, and suggestions for local universities to serve the rural urbanization of Chongqing construction work.Part Four is conclusion. The limitations of the study is parts forward in this part.
