The thesis is finished after my internship in a foreign bank, Chengdu branch.The first part of this thesis is about some introduction to this foreign bank, including its history and development in China, the history and development tendency of its Chengdu branch, and also some information concerning departments and staff of Chengdu branch.The second part is about the daily duties of my internship in this foreign bank, Chengdu branch and my learnings from some detailed work.In the third part, collected data of turnover rate was listed and discussed, from which we draw attention to the focus of this thesis that this foreign bank, Chengdu branch is having a relatively high-level staff turnover problem.In the fourth part, the thesis starts to analyze the possible reasons from many aspects, and divide the findings into three catalogs of hidden causes, direct causes, and root causes.In the last part, some practical suggestion was offered respectively in terms of four different layers of this foreign bank, from its whole corporation down to Human Resource Department of its Chengdu branch.This thesis is not just a general report to my internship in the foreign bank, Chengdu branch. It is the problem spotted from my internship duties that matters, so do the analyses and the suggestion.
