Since the set up of Chengdu Hi-tech Zone, it keeps a strong momentum of growth and expansion, and has made remarkable achievements in the national high-tech zones.This paper uses a few of theories which are based on theoretical economics, regional economics, urban economics, combined with the practice of development of the Chengdu Hi-tech Park to study the features and functions in Chengdu High-tech park’s development. And then from the Industrial agglomeration Perspective, I specially analysis the status, characteristics, problems of the development in the Chengdu Hi-tech Park, some ideas and measures to promote the development of the technology parks in Chengdu also have been given after that. First of all, this article gives a brief analysis of the favorable objective conditions and the Original intention to built this High-tech Zone in the background of the rise of high-tech zones.Secondly I analysis the overall trend in the development of future high-tech zones and the research trends in accordance with domestic and foreign research results on the theory of industrial clustering, this is the theory which helps to explore the principle and mechanism of industrial agglomeration. First of all, this article gives a brief analysis of the favorable objective conditions and the Original intention to built this High-tech Zone in the background of the rise of high-tech zones.Secondly I analysis the overall trend in the development of future high-tech zones and the research trends in accordance with domestic and foreign research results on the theory of industrial clustering. Thirdly, I introduce the latest research progress of the modern theory of industrial clustering. To begin with the three leading industries of the Chengdu Hi-tech Zone, Combined with actual situation in Chengdu, this article gives a detailed analysis of the status and characteristics of its development based on the recent years of industry data, to arrive at their respective strengths and weaknesses in the development process, and puts forward policy proposals and measures to promote the development of high-tech zones. Chengdu Hi-tech Zone industrial clustering mechanism mainly benefits from government policies favoring tax and land policy which helps to attract foreign companies settled and culture innovative mechanisms. Chengdu High-tech Zone has brought far-reaching impact on the development of regional economic structure, promote the development of traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, the upgrade integration of service and manufacturing industries, knowledge and technology-based advantages in human resources slowly be highlighted.
