Research On China's Hi-Tech Zone Development Strategy Based On Industrial Cluster Theory

After twenty years'development,China's High-Tech Industry Development Zone (Hi-Tech Zone) has made large progress in scale,production value,tax and employment, etc. But judging from the existing problems in the practice of developing hi-tech zone, the theory and practice about developing hi-tech zone healthily, sustainably and smoothly is still in the exploring stage. Using industrial cluster theory and other up-to-date interrelated research, this thesis concentrates on studying strategy for developing China's Hi-Tech Zone.Starting from the history of industrial cluster theory and other interrelated research around the world, this thesis builds its own analyzing structure. By analyzing the current situation and major problems in China's Hi-Tech Zone development, this thesis discusses China's Hi-Tech Zone's strategy based on industry cluster theory. The discussion mainly contains Hi-Tech Zone's function and segmentation, development model,industry choosing and evaluating index.The results of this research indicate that hi-tech zone development strategy based on industrial cluster theory contributes a lot to rebuilding and reinforcing Hi-Tech Zone's function and segmentation. Hi-Tech Zone is a dynamic network. Hi-Tech Zone's definition should be broadened. The relationships among different organizations in Hi-Tech Zone determine the speed and quality of Hi-Tech Zone's development.
