During recent years, with the success of Cold Chain Logistics business in Japan and Singapore, TNT leans on their advanced administration conception, first-class facilities and rich practical experiences to enter the Clinical Trial and Life Science market in China and their target customers are named CRO, Contract Research Organization).Because the customers from CRO industry, basing on Clinical Trial and Life Science fields, have strong demands of high level logistic service and their demands of Cold Chain Logistics are becoming more and more imminent.For the moment, China is becoming the focused global market with optimistic development potential and wide perspective, which the multi-national CROs want to develop succeeding the Japan and Singapore. However, the limited governmental policy, lower trading compliance and lagged administration conception lead to the orderless and abnormal competition among the suppliers who provide Cold Chain Logistics service to CROs in China. It will challenge the suppliers, especially the foreign companies, like TNT, to develop their Cold Chain Logistics business in Clinical Trial and Life Science fields in China.The thesis will utilize Michael Porter Five Forces Model, Marketing4P&4C and SWOT theories to do comprehensive analysis of TNT successful Cold Chain Logistics cases in Japan and Singapore from multi-dimensions. Subsequently it will epurate the major successful factors, through comparison, we can summarize how to make the Cold Chain Logistics Development Strategy for TNT to face the future competition and challenge basing on the impactions from China Domestic Market, Relevant Policy Environment, Target Customers-CRO, Main Competitors and so on.With the Strategy Management Theory, referring to the former research fruit to enhance the conclusion, the thesis will try to make a tailor-made Cold Chain Logistics Development Strategy in China for the CRO customers from TNT China. The Development Strategy is expected to bring more market share for TNT in the niche market, more profit and the leading position in the market segment. Meanwhile hope the Development Strategy can be a valuable practice and enlighten other multinational logistics corporations how to grow the Cold Chain Logistics business in China.
