Biogas energy is one of the most important energy in rural area. It can provide renewable energy for peasant household, protect ecological environment and promote the development of ecological agriculture. On the other hand, with regard to the resource to make biogas, agricultural straw and animal manure was directly discarded to environment due to the lack of investment and the inconvenience of collection. As a result, these resources pollute the surrounding air, topsoil and groundwater, which originally are the raw material of biogas energy. Therefore, to meet the increasing energy demand and protect the agricultural environment, comprehensive using of biogas needs to be largely promoted in rural areas at present.Based on the reference of native and foreign literatures, this paper analyses the current condition of different biogas utilization modes in Chengdu city. The author selects four representative areas in Chengdu city as survey spot, including Xinjing County, Pengzhou County, Chongzhou County and Qionglai County. He uses investigative questionnaire on279farmers, surveys8large scale livestock farms and2straw biogas supply project and interviews some experts from Sichuan Rural Energy Office. Then, by assess the economical, ecological and social benefit of biogas projects, this paper evaluates the biogas utilization in Chengdu City and makes some feasible suggestion. The main content includes three parts:1) With information from literature, statistic and field survey, author comprehensive and truly masters the basic situation of household biogas, livestock farm biogas project, straw biogas project in Chengdu City.2) Analysis the economical benefit of the three utilization modes by calculating NPV and evaluate their ecological and social benefit respectively.3) Combining the opinion of experts, evaluation system of biogas project from previous literature and the situation of Chengdu, author applies analysis hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation to conduct a comprehensive assessment system for the straw biogas project in Chengdu.In conclusion, the author holds the opinion that although the economical benefit of household biogas is obvious, it can hardly be widely promoted as usual in most areas due to the decreasing of suitable objective, the change of rural energy consumption and the specialization and centralization of agricultural production. Therefore, livestock biogas project and straw biogas project will become the main biogas utilization modes in rural areas. Based on this, the author propose seven suggestions including strengthening biogas technologies development, restructuring the biogas construction structure, exporting biogas comprehensive utilization, perfecting the policy and fund supporting system, extending the raw material of biogas, industrializing and marketizing the biogas industry and applying the CDM mechanism. |
