With the rapid development of economic globalization and information technology, market competition is increasingly fierce, product life cycles is increasingly shorter,and modern enterprises are facing unprecedented challenges. In the current competitive environment, the majority of enterprises love to integrate the supply chain to reduce costs, shorten product lead time, which makes the supply network becoming more exposed to risk and disruption. Recent catastrophical events, such as the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan only underline the dramatic effect of supply chain disruptions in organizations. Because of the complexity and dependency of supply network members, when one of the nodes encounter the disruption, the whole network will be influenced. Ultimately, the disruption events will seriously affect the normal operation of the supply chain network, and even cause supply chain disruptions, and leading to a sharp rise in the cost of supply chain network, reduce the level of customer service.It has important theoretical significance and application value to design a resilient supply network in disruption risk environment.This paper studies the design of a resilient supply network in disruption risk environment. It takes the supplier-manufacturer-demand point three-echelon supply network as the research objective.And it is organized as follows.(1)We expound the research background, research purposes, the theoretical significance and practical value, and make a review on supply chain risk management and supply network design.(2) We make an overview on the oretical framework of resilent supply network design, which includes supply network vulnerability, supply network resilience as well as the design of resilient supply network under disruption events.(3) We establish a supply network model, which considers the individual failure and regional failure of supplier and the failure of logistics service providers.And it make a comprehensive study of two flexible strategies to improve resilienceand reliability of supply network, which is multiple-soucing supply and back supply. (4) We formulate a stochastic program to optimize supplier selection to hedge against these disruptions. This program integrates three flexible supply strategies, which are multiple-sourcing, option contracts and emergency inventory, and it considers the probability of the disruption and the impact to each node in our supply network.(5) We summarize the main conclusions,indicates the defects, and conclusions and directions for further research are also provided.
