China’s Independent Innovation Of Automobile Industry Study On The Basis Of Endogenous Growth Perspective

China’s auto industry has become one of the vital industries in size and influenceof China’s economy from scratch, from weak to strong. And it is also the globalautomotive market leader for three consecutive years from2009-2011. In spite of theglamorous appearance of the development of the automobile industry, it exists a lot ofshortcomings and deficiencies and its scale is great, but its quality is not very high.The deeper reason that China’s auto industry is lack of internationally renowned carbrands and high-end core technology and is controlled by others is the low level ofindependent innovation of the automobile industry and the gap in the level ofindustrial technology between foreign and domestic automobile. How to enhance theautomotive industry independent innovation level and achieve sustainabledevelopment of the automotive industry to innovate so as to drive steady andsustainable development of the national economy is a strong practical significance ofthe research topic.The paper first reviews the history of independent innovation of China’s autoindustry, analyzes the current situation of the automotive industry in these four aspects:investment in research and development, patents, professional talents and own-brand.Second, it summarizes the internal and external factors affecting the automobileindustry of independent innovation based on relating independent innovation theory inindustry, while builds endogenous growth model of industrial independent innovationbased on independent innovation theory in industry and endogenous growth model,and through the static and dynamic analysis of the model, interprets that theindependent innovation is the essence of knowledge of the production process andthat physical capital, human capital and knowledge stock produce an effect onindependent innovation process through knowledge production process. Once again itbuilds the model based on empirical analysis. The results show that the R&Dinvestment, R&D personnel and the stock of knowledge all have positive impact onthe independent innovation of China’s automobile industry, but the current situationthe contribution of R&D investment is the most prominent part in the level ofindependent innovation. Finally, the paper concludes that the current status of China’sautomotive industry independent innovation largely relies on R&D investment drivenby the effect of the level of human capital and knowledge stock is not obvious at alow level of a progressive independent innovation stage to promote independentinnovation in the automotive industry to a higher level that is leaps and bounds independent innovation stage of development, so it is necessary to increase the impactof the level of human capital and knowledge stock, and thus we should put forwardpolicy recommendations to solve the problem of the independent innovation ofChina’s automobile.
