At present, the transformaiton of the pattern of economic development in China is at acrucial stage. China is a populous country and also a large agricultural country, and the transformation of agricultural development mode in China is, without doubt, important content and difficult problem of the transformation of economic development patterns. The is a close link between human capital investment and agricultural developemt, and human capital investment is the source of agricultural economic growth, however, how to invest in human capital in order to acceletate transformation of agricultural economic develoment patterns is a subject that needs to be innovated continuously, especially, our country is in the key period of accelerating the industrialization and urbanization, and the countryside is being drained of the rural labour force, in situations such as this, who concernes in agriculture and how concernes in agriculture are a practical problem that have emerged in the course of changing the development mode of agriculture. Based the tendency of accelerating industrialization and urbanization and the outflow of the rural labour force, this paper focus on changing the mode of agricultural economic development, and has analysed the status quo of the rural manpower investment and accumulaiton, effect of the rural manpower investment and accumulaiton on agricultural development, and the changing pattems and path choice of the human capital investment to advance transformation of agricultural development mode, on that basis, the paper put forward policy recommendations of the human capital investment to advance transformation of agricultural development mode and further construct theoretic system, operating mechanism and policy system.
