Research On The Development Of Green Packaging From Perspctive Of Circular Economy

Packaging industry owns a special place in the total industrial chainand value chain because it is closely associated with the production,circulation, and consumption. Packaging industry is an importantcomponent of national economic system, which not only promoted thedevelopment of economy and society, but also polluted the environmentin the past decades. Environment problems have been important issuesthat affect the survival and development of human in the modern society.The only mode of future economy is to realize circular economy. Thus, ithas been a tendency that using circular economy theory asguilding ideology for developing green packaging. In this dissertation, thebackgrounds, concepts, and connotations of circular economy and greenpackaging were studied by consulting massive literatures. Therelationships between circular economy and green packaging areanalyzed. The development histories and experiences of green packagingin developed countries were studied by consulting literatures andcontrastive analysis method. Through a series of approaches such as fieldtrip, surveying, and consulting literatures, the development status andexisting issues of our country’s green packaging were investigated fromdifferent angles such as packaging standard and industrial structure etc.On the basis of analyzing development histories and current situations, anew development mode for our country’s green packaging were proposed, which included developmental idea, views on developing, and the mainline of development. The developmental idea is: green first, recyclingparamount, adoring pragmatic, and combat waste. The views ondeveloping is: relying on science and technology, government guidance,government leading, association guidance, enterprises executing, and allpeople involving. The main line of development is: green packagingmaterials must have priority for selection and investigation, greenpackaging design should be carried out, the cleaner production must beperformed, packaging waste should be vigorously recycled, andpackaging industrial clusters should be fabricated.
