With the role of knowledge and technology in social development continues to highlight, enterprises in China are facing more fierce competition. In order to survive in the competitive environment, researching on human capital in financial competitiveness has great theoretical and applied significance. In particular, the innovative enterprises has a huge demand of human capital. The purpose of this thesis is to research the relationship between human capital and financial competitiveness, based on the perspective of innovative enterprises. Eventually, the study evaluated the impact of different elements of human capital on enterprise’s financial competitiveness.Based on many scholars’research, this thesis analyzed the relationship between human capital and financial competitiveness through theoretical analysis and empirical method. It is mainly divided into three parts:The first part discussed the concept of human capital and financial competitiveness, including definitions, characteristics, elements and influencing factors. It offers a theoretical basis for the theoretical and empirical research latter.The second part analyzed the relationship between human capital and financial competitiveness in innovative enterprises, including the role of human capital which played in financial competitiveness, the requirements of human capital to financial competitiveness, and build the evaluation index systems of human capital and financial competitiveness respectively.The third part analyzed the relationship between human capital and financial competitiveness using the questionnaire method. Through the analysis of the survey data, it had been calculated that the extent of the impact of human capital’s elements to financial competitiveness, so as to verify the theoretical assumptions.Through the theoretical analysis and empirical research, this thesis draw three main conclusions:First, it proposed human capital and financial competitiveness evaluation index system. Human capital has four variables, including education capital, ability capital, experience capital and attitudes capital, consisting of20measurement indicators; financial competitiveness has two variable, including competitiveness and financial performance, which comprised21measurement indicators. Second, it has been found that human capital has positive affect on the financial competitiveness. Among the four elements of human capital, the education capital, ability capital and attitudes capital have a significant positive impact on the enterprises’financial competitiveness, while experience capital has no significant effect on the financial competitiveness, but there may exist indirect effects.Third, the different elements of human capital have different effect on financial competitiveness. Not only the different elements of human capital have different impact, but also the different indicators of human capital have different impact on financial competitiveness. The ability capital and attitudes capital influenced significantly on financial competitiveness, and education capital and experience capital come second.
