Worldwide, people generally reach a consensus that oil is not only a kind of common energy goods, but more should be considered as a kind of important, scarce and non-renewable strategic materials. The world economy, social stability and national security are related to oil product. China has become the main oil supply state and should be refined as major importing country. The world oil price fluctuations has brought an unprecedented influence on Chinese oil consumption market and petroleum product enterpriseThe financial crisis, international investors hyping, geopolitical crises and all sorts of unpredictable factors influence the oil price, international oil prices will fluctuate in a long period. Various ownership enterprises have entered the oil market of Wuhai, that makes marketing more complicated. In this form, petroChina Wuhai marketing company must promptly examine market environment and its actual operation ability, adjust marketing strategy, so that the company can win the market.This paper analyzes the market environment of Wuhai Branch of Petrochina Company uses a certain way to predict the market oil consumption, analyses the final consumption bodies in the market, and introduces the competitors’ situation. Secondly, basing on the internal environment of petroChina Wuhai marketing company, and using SWOT method, this paper gives the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats the company facing. According to different situation, this paper proposes the strategies. To guarantee the implementation of the marketing strategies, this paper proposals the safeguard measures from five aspects, such as information collection and analysis, overall marketing, resource allocation, management level and network layout.
