| In2013, to the world’s biggst foreign trade country China, US is not only her important importer, but also the largest exporter. At the same time, accompanied by the political speculation and pressure of US, the "Sino-US trade imbalance" has been gradually evolved from economic issues to a collection of legal and political issues, serving as an excuse for the US neo-protectionism and the reason to force the appreciation of RMB.Dominanted by US hegemony, the trade protectionism against China was becoming more prominent and also caused serious harms to Yunnan Yuan Da customs broker, a well-known company in Yunnan Province which provide import and export Services for commodities, such as photovoltaic products, steel, clothing, footwear, foods, agricultural products, rubber, ceramics, Pharmaceuticals and etc. Especially after2009, these services have been withered rapidly in the baking of escalating US neo-protectionism, which also caused sharp drop in performance of the company.By studying the statues and experiences of Yuan Da and forms of US neo-protectionism, including:anti-dumping and anti-bribery investigation, high tariff, imports limit, barriers of customs Procedure, technological barriers, intellectual property dispute, Government procurement obstacles, export limit, trade subsidies, forcing RMB appreciation, discrediting Chinese products,ect, author is not only try to find out the hidden reasons behind those trade protectionist measures, but also want to find out the relief measures for Yunnan Yuan Da to deal with protectionism and improve the performance of it. |
