The Study On The Contribution Of The Development Of The Logistics Industry To Economic Growth In Liaoning Province

The logistics industry is the key of foundation and artery in the national economy, and is a composite industry incorporating transportation, warehousing, freight forwarding and information industry and so on. Speeding up the development of logistics industry can improve the efficiency and quality of the economic operations, promote the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure, enhance the regional economic strength and comprehensive competitiveness, and there is important significance to promote an area of social progress and economic growth. Therefore, discussion on the relationship between logistics development and economic growth has become a practical and theoretical problems.Located in the core area of the Northeast Asian region, Liaoning Province, sea, land and air transport system is more complete, however, the logistics industry of Liaoning Province is still in a primary stage, and there are still many constraints. At present, with the development of international trade and economic globalization, the requirements of the circulation of goods whether for the service level or the effectiveness are more stringent, which makes Liaoning Province facing more difficulties and more severe challenges when developing their own logistics industry in the future. By this token, Liaoning Province urgently needs to find a way to develop logistics industry which is suit to its own conditions.The paper adopts the method of qualitative analysis, on the basis of the comprehensive analysis of the former research results, combined with related theory, and learning the development status of Liaoning Province logistics, besides, combined with quantitative analysis, using time series analysis method discusses the contribution of Liaoning logistics development to economic growth. The thesis mainly consists of five parts:The first part:describes the background, significance and the method of the research; the main contents, basic framework and innovative points of the paper; and the deficiencies of this paper and the literature review.The second part:introduced the concept of logistics and modern logistics theory.The third part:firstly introduces the present situation of logistics development in China, and then describes the current situation of the development logistics in Liaoning Province, analyzes the trend of the development of Liaoning logistics, finally, summarizes the problems exists in the development of Liaoning Province logistics industry.The fourth part:from the quantitative point of view, using time series analysis methods research the contribution of logistics development in Liaoning Province to the economic growth, and described the regression results.The fifth part:by summary the full text, puts forward some suggestions to promote the development of modern logistics in Liaoning and several problems should be paid attention to.
