| The automotive industry is the most complex high-volume manufacturing industry, involving thousands of items per vehicle parts and hundreds of suppliers. This requires that automobile manufacturers have a strong supply chain collaboration capability to ensure the smooth flow of logistics, information flow, and capital flow. For this reason the majority of the domestic automobile manufacturers have introduced ERP system to the manufacturing activities within the enterprise and supplier of manufacturing resources together to form a complete supply chain. We hope this article from the automotive industry and automotive companies to conclude the key factors affecting the automobile manufacturing enterprise ERP, ERP implementation experience, the successful implementation of the analysis. And with my own practice in the SouEast Motor ERP implementation process to provide automobile ERP system some reference. First we introduce the background and significance of the study, research and structural arrangements for basic research, such as ERP theoretical overview, introduction of lean production theory. And from the domestic automotive industry environment analysis, describes the general characteristics of the automotive industry, the status and characteristics of the automotive industry at home and abroad, China’s auto industry factors restricting the development of China’s automobile industry and conclude the import of ERP necessity.
