In the25years’ development of the local state-owned investment company, someof them have been grown as a major role, which help the government keep their assetsvalue, construct infrastructure and raise fund. But within the continuous changed of theeconomical conditions and the local policy, these companies, who facing cut-throatcompetition, have to fight for survives. Thus, the mission is to design a strategy forstate-owned companies, to help them swiftly adapt to the market competition.This thesis selected a Shuangliu’s state-owned investment company as a researchobject. First, analysis the external environment of the company by PEST and Porter’sfive forces, use EFE to evaluate its critical chance and threat. Second, introduce thecompanies’ history, current business, operation mode, internal management system, andthen make the final assessment by IFE. Third, witness its strategy choice and affectionaccording to its inner and external environment. Fourth, based on the evaluation and itsnew strategy, give some suggestions about how to implementation and control.We hope this thesis could give some reference to those state-owned investmentcompanies, which have similar conditions. Besides, we wish the thesis could appeal tothe government put more emphasis on the local state-owned investment companies,give them more policy support to help they fit the current market environment.
