According to the Research Report on " Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period:the development of the insurance intermediary market and regulatory, by the end of2010, China had insurance sellers about3297786, to achieve full-year2010premium income46.82billion Yuan, the total premium income of42.6%; As huge insurance marketing team brings huge premium income, there also hidden dangers, especially insurance sellers illegal operation of insurance which damage consumer interests. By the end of2012, the CIRC issued relevant documents were involved, at insurance consumer rights protection system part, it more than240, a total of16insurance regulatory bureau established consumer protection department (or branch). At the beginning of the year2013,the national insurance regulatory work conference stressed that:consumer protection efforts should be more strengthening in the further than in the past to protect the lawful rights and interests of insurance consumers. The creation of this paper is based on such background.The whole paper is divided into five parts:First, an overview of insurance sellers. After reviewing the development process of insurance marketing system in China, the paper summary of sellers’ system of insurance.Second, theory foundation of life insurance consumption. Firstly the definition of insurance consumption and insurance consumers. Then introduce the particularity of insurance consumption. Finally, according to the characteristics of life insurance contract such as the duration is long, pointed out that insurance consumption especially life insurance consumption has higher requirements on the legal protection.Third, analysis of life insurance consumption misleading and its influence. Summarized five kinds of common forms of life insurance consumption misleading. Analyze the reasons from life insurance consumer, life insurance marketing staff, insures, legal and regulatory. Lay out its adverse effects on consumers, insurance companies and the whole insurance industry.Fourth, the comparison of life insurance sellers system around the world and enlightenments. From the comparison, recognize the existence of the problems which the China’s marketing staff system had.Fifth, ideas and measures for how to prevent life insurance sales misleading insurance consumers. From the micro, meso, macro three levels, to put forward the feasible countermeasures.
