The problem of this study is the existence and the extent of local protectionism in Sichuan, as well as local protectionism inter-regional trade. Although local protectionism in China has many experts researched from multiple perspectives, but did not reach an agreement. So I hope that the research can find the presence of the major form of protectionism. In addition, local market is difficult to expand in China; because cross-regional sales barriers resulted by domestic local protectionism. So, I want to find Sichuan cross-regional sales barrier’s methods.In the research, in order to survey a large space to express their own views and opinions, as well as on the important issues involved in the interviews and make detailed questioning, I semi-structured interviews with non-structural interviews combined, this design ensures a standardized and rigorous theme interviews, they can make the appropriate adjustments in accordance with the circumstances of the interview.This paper has five parts, settings and main contents are as follows:The first part is the introduction. Unified domestic market, the construction and export of insufficient domestic disruption background, pointed out that local protectionism phenomenon is the obstacles that hinder the construction of a unified market and the local market to open up, so that the purpose of this writing, meaning in this context could commence.The second part is a literature review. A review of the causes of local protectionism at home and abroad, research methods, conclusions and inter-regional trade. The main contents are:domestic and foreign scholars from the perspective of the industrial structure, the degree of market integration, inter-regional trade data to study the local protectionism, come to our local protectionism is widespread and the local level and not the same, as well as local protectionism is due to the administrative decentralization unreasonable performance evaluation system led to the conclusion. In addition, the presence of local protectionism formed a cross-regional sales barrier, leading to the choice of Chinese enterprises export strategy as well as domestic market by foreign occupation, exacerbating the local market is difficult to extend the status quo. The third part is the introduction of the research methods. Determine the choice of interview research; explain the reasons for the selection interview; completing the design on the research issues and topics.The fourth part is the results and discussion. Within the planning time to complete the investigation of the14samples collected summarizes the research useful information and a summary of information.The fifth part is summarized. Due to local protectionism hinders the construction of a unified market and export to the domestic implementation of the strategy, this section will combine the specific information of the research proposed measures to eliminate local protectionism.The main innovation lies in:First, research methods, the existence of local protectionism and the existence of the way the local area, so as to enrich the existing empirical results, which is less in the previous studies. Second, research from the analysis of local protectionism of inter-regional trade, and in the study of the existing inter-regional trade barriers, most studies are based on the assumption that the presence of a serious local protectionism.
